    About Imagine Education (Main Campus)

    Imagine Education’s Main Campus is located at 13 Benowa Road Southport on the beautiful Gold Coast. Our state-of-the-art campus is located only five minutes drive from the Southport CBD and 10 minutes drive from famous Surfers Paradise. Our campus is surrounded by native bushland and provides a tranquil environment for our students.     Imagine’s Main Campus has 10 classrooms equipped with comfortable furniture and the latest in teaching facilities. The campus has many features including:

      Overview

      This course is designed to be the first part of the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or to stand alone as a Certificate qualification. The course duration is 28 weeks inclusive of 120 hours practicum. This qualification gives you career options as an Assistant in a Child Care Centre or Family Day Care Provider. After graduation you may opt to return to complete a higher qualification to enable you to adopt more responsibility as a leader/coordinator in a child care.


      Students studying this course are required to obtain a Blue Card for Working with Children.


      Imagine Education offers local Gold Coast students our Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care course. The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification reflects the role of workers in a range of early childhood education and child care settings who work within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard. They support the implementation of an approved learning framework, and support children’s wellbeing, learning, and development. Depending on the setting, educators may work under direct supervision or autonomously.


      Students and apprentices studying the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care course have access to Imagine Education's child care centres which are on-site at our Main Campus for real-world training in a child care environment.


      The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care course is also offered under the Government's Certificate 3 Guarantee Program for eligible students. Please contact us for more information.

      Overview

      This further qualification enables you to explore your potential as a leader in the early childhood context. The course duration is 40 weeks inclusive of up to 240 hours of practicum. If you already have a Certificate III in Children's Services, you may wish to upgrade to this Diploma. On completion this course you may wish to seek employment as a Qualified Group Leader or Family Day Care Coordinator, or elect to continue on to the Advanced Diploma of Children’s Services, or a University degree in Education or Community Services.


      Imagine Education offers local Gold Coast students our Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care course. The Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care qualification reflects the role of early childhood educators who are responsible for designing and implementing curriculum in early childhood education and care services. In doing so, they work to implement an approved learning framework within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard. They may have responsibility for supervision of volunteers or other staff.

    • Young Learners English Program

      Overview

      English for children aged six to 12 years old. Imagine Education is pleased to offer a Young Learners Program, which closely follows the Australian Primary School Syllabus. It is perfect for children aged six to 12 who plan to attend a primary school here in Australia. It is also suitable as a holiday program for children travelling with their families (e.g. Mother and Child Program) as there is no minimum number of weeks to study.


      The Young Learners Course is designed to help young people learn about Australian culture and lifestyle, express their thoughts about themselves and react to the world.


      Assessment activities will be carried out as an integral part of the ‘every day’ teaching cycle. Student progress is monitored through regular assessment and class participation and programs are flexible to meet the needs of the individual students.


      On completion of their studies students will receive a certificate indicating their level of proficiency.

      Overview

      English for children soon to enter high school. This course is designed to help students wanting to study in an Australian High School develop the required level of English language proficiency. The course content is based on the Queensland Senior Secondary School core subject areas. These include English for Mathematics, English for Science, Novel, Academic Writing and Public Speaking.


      The course delivery encourages positive, pro-active learning, with caring individual attention. Students develop self-confidence, maturity and self-awareness, while developing effective study habits appropriate to cope with the demands of the Australian education system.
