I was born in Sao Paulo and spent most of my life in the same city and at the same house. I always loved traveling, getting to know new people, new cultures, and explore new places.

I am graduated in Tourism, and as soon as I graduated at Uni, I decide to travel to Australia to improve my English skills, as it is essential for my career.

I lived with an amazing Australian family in a very small town called Byron Bay. I could develop a lot my English skills, I met people from all around the world at school, and I had an incredible experience with Australian culture. 

After my English course finished I moved to Sydney. Time went by, and the will of going back home never came. 

I met I beautiful Kiwi guy (New Zealander), who I got married. We have been together for the past 7 years.

I started to work with international students in Sydney, and today I work at WEST 1 Melbourne.

I love helping people, and it gives me great pleasure to be able to support all international students when they first arrive in Australia.

A proud Brazilian, passionate for samba and soccer, from Maceió, Alagoas, northeast of Brazil. I’m graduated in Social Communication – Journalism by the Federal University of Alagoas (2016). I’m communicative, I love helping people, I’m friends with everyone and expert in silly jokes.
I have three passions in my life: soccer, music and communication. Since I was a child, those three were my base and still are today. Football lover since the days of being a kid who dreamed about being a professional player; musician since I was 10 years old, when I learned how to play acoustic guitar and cavaquinho a few years later; and communications lover thanks to my dad, who also is a journalist and made me fall in love to inform.
In Brazil I’ve worked as a reporter on radio, newspaper, website and TV, and as a press officer. Guess where? In a soccer club. In the end of 2018, I decided to move to Australia to live a new experience in my life and improve my English skills. I’ve been here since April of 2019 and since then, I’m living a wonderful experience. I’ve been getting to know people from every part of the world and cultures totally different to mine.
Now I’m proud to be part of the WEST 1 family and I hope to help other Brazilians who like me, follow their dreams.

I am Camila Bueno! I am from Ribeirão Preto, a small city in São Paulo and I always wanted to try living in other cities.

I studied International Relations and after that, I have decided to follow the dream of my first experience abroad.

I sold my lovely old car to be able to invest in 2 years of studies in Barcelona in Spain. It was more than an incredible experience! All the lifetime friends I met, every place I have been to and the life experience I gained, gave me even more motivation to go out there and see the what was the best things the world would have to offer me. Get to know other cultures and develop myself! 

I knew it would be very hard for me to go back and stay in my home town again. On my time back in Brazil, I worked for big companies in agro-business where I learned a lot and felt the need of improving my English. Come to Australia became my objective!

I am really happy with what Australia brought to my life! This amazing country exceed my expectations almost daily even after 4 years of living here! Here, I had the chance to work with this amazing family WEST 1, being able to do what I love the most helping, sharing, connecting, meet people, take care of others and exchange all the experience I have and learn with others, after all, I love making the difference in people’s lives!

I have a Bachelor's in Tourism and vast experience in the International Education Sector,
having worked for almost 16 years with International Students. My first experience living
abroad as an international student was in 2007 when I decided to study English in Ireland.
After that, I returned to my native country and continued working as an education consultant
until now. In 2015, I came to Australia as an International Student again, however, this time
I was looking for some skills in the field of Human Resources, Marketing and Leadership as
well as Management. I understand what clients go through and I am able to assist them to
study in Australia and enjoy what the country can offer: the best lifestyle coupled with
excellent opportunities for genuine students. Now, I am excited to become part of the WEST 1 team and to be among experienced staff that have been helping so many students to achieve their dreams with
a commitment to quality and integrity. I am Brazilian born and I speak English and Portuguese.

My name is Fernanda and I was born and raised in Natal, the state of Rio Grande do Norte – Brazil. I am graduated in Tourism from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi and always had the dream of experiencing an exchange. After finishing University I had the opportunity to learn English and live in Canada for 2 years. I had the best life experiences I could imagine. I learned English from the basics, met and made many friends from all over the world, lived intensely every moment. After that experience, I returned to Brazil and began to work with exchange because I felt the greatest pleasure in helping those who also had the same dream, and I also did not want to stop traveling. I overcame the language barrier, to know the unknown and to travel to other countries became an addiction and the best: totally without fear. I have also been to Canada, USA, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Germany, France, Holland, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Japan, New Zealand and Australia. The desire to live abroad again always came back to my mind until I decided to live in Australia and here I am. I am in the exchange market having the pleasure to help students for more than 7 years and only have to offer the best of me based on all my knowledge and experience.
