The second stage is designed for professionals who are interested in developing their spoken and written communication skills in an international and technology enhanced environment. The aim is to equip participants to communicate effectively in English in order to be able to progress professionally. Dublin is a hub for international technology companies who employ multinational teams to service European markets in the first language. The language of coordination and management in these companies is always English, however, and in order to progress in your career you need to be able to present yourself well and communicate effectively in that language. Effective communication is about more than just the language, it is about engaging with the culture of the company in an appropriate way.
The initial stage of our course is designed to help people to make a life in Dublin through English and deal successfully with all the situations that will arise at work, at home and socially. It aims to help develop communication skills that consider the cultural as well as the linguistic challenges to successful communication in English.
General English Condensed Course(reg.080693C) – This condensed course allows students to study General English for a few days a weeks(2 days and half) and still have enough free time to work and play. This course is perfect for students with part time job or busy lives. English level from Elementary to Advanced.
One of our main courses is General English Full-Time ( CRICOS No. 071778F). We have English levels from Elementary to Advanced. There are currently 8 classes, average on 14 students per class. New students can start on any Monday. In the morning class, student gain English skills through reading, writing, listening and grammar study. Afternoon classes are more focus on conversation practice.
Our General English programme develops all aspects of the English language including: speaking, pronunciation, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar and functional usage.
The Irish College of English offers part-time evening English courses Dublin for adults and students living within the locality who wish to improve their English. The focus of these English classes is on communication through spoken and written English. Our highly qualified language teachers will set you clear learning objectives and use the best techniques to provide practice in speaking, writing, listening and reading. The course also includes an Irish Culture component, which covers Irish language, traditional music, history and culture. It will provide students with a good knowledge of the people, enabling them to become actively involved with the unique Irish way of life.
We have a specially designed Adult Syllabus to encourage your progression and confidence with an emphasis on building fluency. We believe in real materials and growing to love the language by living it. Classes are international and have a maximum of 15 students per class. 15 full hours tuition per week.
